Great work RS Team. I'll test this when I get home. I love coming into work with a new beta and coffee as well.

You can try to add emission to your SSS material, but not to much ! :)

Sure, but I didn't use octane for more than a year (I'm still waiting for a decent blender exporter or a proper navigation support in octane) and I couldn't figure out how. Can someone point me to a forum post or something that explains how?

Anyway, it's simply a specular material with scatter.

right click on the node (assuming you have the material as external node) > save > choose as option to live db (instead to disk)...
The obvious is that which is never seen until someone expresses it simply

Info : My SSS with Diffuse is a bit emissive.

Wow, realy cool new features.
A mesh group and a mesh transform. They doesn´t work but nice to know that they are in the pipeline :)

I could do with some guidance on on using this with Daz3d models.

Previously I used a glossy material with Diffuse, Specular and Bump maps.
