thanks Ttaberna, I appreciate it.
Two more, now a day-night comparation, Day in PT, 5K samples, 2hr, night PMC 8K samples 5hr, both with 1x570.
The day has a little noise from the cracks on the moon and I used and HDRI as background, same retouching from the others. I've de-saturated most materials, and have the overall saturation in 1.1, which gives the HDRI enviroment a nice touch btw.
Hope you like it.

The day shot is great with good materials & texturing. Much better than night, because all the yellow lights overwhelm the subtle colors & materials of the buildings. In the day shot all the nice building facades are pleasant to look at (maybe less in line with the "apocalypse" theme, but better atmosphere). This last night shot is also much better than the previous night shots (good POV). Maybe put the moon more in center on the sky? Does the statue use a normalmap?
The weak point are the piles of rubble, which are difficult to do, I know. From the distance they look ok, but I would remove (or replace with something else) those around the statue, if you plan to make closeups.

@matej, I agree with the pile of rubish, it was not meant to be seen in close up shots, I do have a higher res one, but the problem is size, my Vram is topped right now, may be with the new version since I've got tons of instances in this scene I can add more detail to it, but for now, that's it. On the other hand, the yellowish look is what I was after, it's more about a feeling I remember and try to express than rather trying to achieve a more "realistic" depiction of the street. I also agree with the POV, this last one has more strength than the previous ones, althou I like the first one too. The sculpture has a low bump map, but not normals, I was planning on hand painting some extra detail and added as normal map, but I didn't have time, may be later. Again, thanks for your time, I mean it.
This last one, besides being the last one for a while since I plan to start a new scene for the extended competition, shows better than the others what I was after, and it was pure luck playing with the cameras around, since it was not a planned shot, unlike the others.
Hope you like it.
