Most of the wood textures are the wrong way around. The tend to cut wood planks with the grain, not against it.

Check the lamp shade material in live db. It's under the misc materials section.

Fix the wood like steveps3 said... maybe that tv stand is too small for that huge tv.

Making nice progress. Along with the critiques of everyone else, I'd say lower the bump on the floorboards a tad, too. It was too outstanding for my liking. It should be subtle enough to have the effect, but not draw your attention to it.

I also added some books and some picture frames along with some sweet 1080p 2012 playing on the tv ;)
