Congrats on the release of the new software...looks promising. As new licensed user of Octane, I'm at a loss for finding any instruction on how to hook up nodes(past looking at the videos). What do they mean and what are the essentials needed to get going with a render?

Hi,
There is currently no specific tutorial about node management,
and i would recommend for now you use the node inspector to swap nodes.
You can use octane %100 with the node inspector.
The nodegraph is only used is specific scenarios where you want to share a material many times,
or to build more complex procedural materials once we've added the nodes to do so,
currently there is no real need for it yet, but there will be soon.

I guess what I'm trying to figure out is how to even get started.
After importing objects, how do you link them together so they can all be seen in the viewport at once, and many simple thing such as this? I'll wait for a "getting started" tutorial of some type before diving in.

we're preparing new tutorials, but they won't be available for atleast another few days...
There should be more than enough information in the manual and existing video tuts though.
