I dont get it when i press the Clay-mode it works as intended but the speed of my render is halved ? I think it should be exactly the opposite way? There is noway that an object with specular+diffuse+bumps renders 2 times faster than a white no-specular material..

Can you confirm with different scenes? I get an almost 2X increase when going to clay mode.

The reflection value of the clay is quite high, probably higher than the materials in the scene, and russian roulette by default (if rrprob is set to 0.0) continues a ray with a probability proportional to the reflection value. So in clay mode the paths traced may be longer on average, causing the renderer to slow down.
