Good evening/night/morning/day!

To train myself in modeling, texturing and rendering (and maybe get something for my portfolio) I started a project with the goal to model & render my 16 (!) cameras.
The first model was a super-8 video camera (seen here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mr_chisol/ ... otostream/ & http://chris.hindefjord.se/blog/2011082 ... -animation)

The current camera is a old folding camera:

Full resolution (4200x4200)

It's just a test render (with boring HDRi lighting), but I rendered it for 21 hours (just because I wasn't home.. :?/ ) to 3000 samples (Pathtracing).
The round "table" is for the turntable/animation. The idea I had for a final image was to use a "woodfloor backdrop".

I tried PMC, but so far PMC hasn't played nice with me. With this model it gave a good render, but I preferred the pathtracing version (a little more hotpixels, but "cleaner" etc, in about the same render time).

What I have left to do is to setup some good lighting and finish the animation.

The style I'm aiming for on the renderings is crisp/advertisement-ish.

Modeled in Blender 2.59.

Nice, however if you have the time and patience there is this short that im sure you have heard of or seen called "The third and the seventh".
He modeled and textured the same camera you made, you should look at his design and try and put all of the details that he has on to yours, but in your own different style of course.
