Directly from Daz studio into Octane, as there is no plugin yet ... I spent some time on the skin material. I tried the Refracty's SSS trick for the skin, but the result wasn't successful at my taste, so I finally used a classic glossy material with a low specularity and a rather high roughness. I wish to have your appreciation and comments to help me improve my work.
Used a HDRI for lighting and pathtracing.

Very nice. Lower the specularity on some of you materials most of them are abit too shiny.

As for the skin did you try using the skin texture in the emission channel with specular map to add subsurface effect
and the specular map in the for depth of absorbtion chanel that may give good results till the real sss is added.

Who needs body armor anyway... 8-)

I think you did great with material setup (the metal shininess is OK, IMO). Nothing to criticise, really.

@babygenius55 : thanks.

@matej : Right, so, as soon as SSS is available, I remove the armor ;) Thanks for your appreciation.
