Any news about an update for the exporter ?..

......... I think the 100% layout version of your plugin will be only available only for lw11 and up....... ;)

yes it will have the same support. if you make any object changes - the .obj will needs to be updated so hop over to modeler and run the script one time. it takes the whole timeline so it's a one time thing. when newtek fixes the bug it will be all layout again - but working ;)
the tests I did with the LW exported worked good though. the material sometimes can be quite bad so I might use my own for that.

I hope you will resolve the "moninit" problem.

just, i ask it to you for the last time (promised ! ;) ): would it be possible to add to the new version exporter these features (integrated in most of other exporters ):

- ability to track an object/null with camera to define the sharp-point of depth oh field ( like in blender 1.10 plugin version )
- ability to key the camera aperture ( control of DOF ) values over time (like in Maya/blender exporters ans surely others...)
- ability to key the camera-angle values over time ( like in Maya/blender exporters ans surely others...)
You would be a king !... :D

Could you try the test I've attached. Add the two in layout.

Load your scene, open the octane export in layout master plugins.
Click "Prepare Scene"
Hop over to Modeler, run OctaneExporterMOD.lsc (i recommend making a hotkey or menu item for this one...)
Hope over to Layout and hit the render button.

Let me know how it goes.
Materials will be messed up, will fix that

hi

i've an error message when trying to launch OctaneExporterMOD.lsc :

"bad magic value on input file" with lightwave 9.6

"error code 204" with 10.1 version

W>aht is the way to launch lscript ( i never use them directly ): you choose the button LScript or LscriptRT (, thats right ?
(Both of them are not functionning...)

Well, when I click to "Prepare current F..." nothing seems happen....is it normal ??

After that I go in the modeler and run OctaneExporterMOD.lsc via a hotkey and it tells me "Done"

then i return in lw and hit render, but sorry, the terminator problem is still here when "daylight" is used..... :(

PS : may be you can make a little video to show us how it works...just to verify the method with us ?
