Hi guys,

Sad News, but marcus has decided to change his carreer last week,
and has decided to leave refractive software for a new position elsewhere, after working for us for one year.

Future releases/updates and bug-fixes/tracking will be handled by Roeland, Radiance, Karba and some new people joining.

Yours,
Radiance

As I perceived it (but maybe I'm wrong), Marcus was the cornerstone of Octane development for something like 3/4 of the last year. He was also the main person dealing with the community (bug reports, feature requests, explaining things, helping to run things, etc...) and a very nice guy on top of that.

Forget about all the other manpower losses of RS. This one is really bad. :|

Hey,

It's sad, yeah, but people come and go...
Rest assured this will not impact our ability to develop octane further, in fact, we're growing and will have new people joining soon...
I'm going to be freed of many administrative tasks so i will get back into coding too, and we've got a nice set of features lined up for beta 2.6, some of which will be very much appreciated,
i'll post some previews in a few days before our next test release...

Yeah! It is kind of sad but...as Radiance sais it happens! Good luck to Marcus in his new adventures . We know RS won't stop for this so, keep the hard work and hope to see new faces around.
Cheers

Marcus, thanks a lot for all the time spent with us, and all your patience, we know that (we) the crazy zombies can be tiresome!. The best of luck in your future projects.
