Working on a generic European (German) looking modern house for better estimation on how long I will need to do a viz and calculate some costs for potential clients from it I'm about to mail with my new brochure. I hope some real-estate people will like the new stuff I made recently.
Far from finished. Lit with a HDR map and getting small greenish fireflies with HDR lighting usually and PMC. Its a bit notable on the windows.
Grass is from my shops game-model collection "Ground Plants" and looks nice. I will mix it with some other low-poly flowers I have here.
Will now go on to make the garden nice with a path to the entry, some 2D people and maybe wooden fences at the borders plus material enhancements.

Looks great!
Something about the scale makes it feel like a model house though, rather than a photo of the full size house. I can't put my finger on it though. Maybe the camera FOV?

could be. at the moment the eye doesnt have something to measure scale. like some people or a car... And the materials are very clean at the moment after the first pass.

i think it is the cut of the plan in the background and the lack of depth with some kind of background image/models that causes the unreal effect. Also the camera is a little high, if you lower and tilt it a little i think it will look better. Else, very nice render indeed.

Finished it mostly. Grass needs to be fixed and materials of course need to be enhanced. Will use another lighting too and some 2D trees for the background. Was too heavy to use meshes. I hope we get instances in 2011.
