Cinema 4D's latest release R13 now supports full stereo workflow, from the modeling viewport all the way to the renderer (though still with some rough patches along the way). But it's awesome. I got a Quadro card, a 120hz monitor, and the 3D vision kit, and it really makes certain aspects of modeling and animation more intuitive and easier (and more fun

I'd just like to ask if Octane will ever support this sort of thing. Right now it's obviously possible to simply render out two image sequences from Octane, and combine them in After Effects... but it would be really great to be able to work in Octane with my 3D glasses on. To set up shots and create materials in stereo...
From my naive standpoint it seems it wouldn't take too much work. Just double the size of the image buffer, render side by side, and use the quad buffered OpenGL API to display it to the user in each eye.
Any thoughts, RS?
