Hi Im new to 3d Animating and I just have a short question.

In blender 2.59 Ive learned to model meshes, apply materials, and add textures.

My question is can I just model in blender, and then add materials and textures in Octane?

Id prefer to add materials and textures in Octane and just model in Blender.

yep, you are in luck because that is exactly how Octane works. It is much easier to add materials within Octane. You get much finer control over them.
