I've been working around this issue for a bit, but with some post coming up regarding trying to load a large scene to accommodate 1-1 scaling and presenting some issues at times, i wanted to make a feature suggestion. Being a migrating Maxwell user, one feature i use a bit of when needed is the scaling feature. you can adjust the renderer to accommodate the adjusted scale of your model. for example if i drop the scale by .5, in maxwell i tell it to scale it by 2 so it produces a normal looking scene. this would be a great feature to see in Octane. so far i have been able to work around it so the images aren't looking like dollhouse images.

hi,

You can modify the scale used when loading / importing an OBJ mesh,
you do this in the OBJ import preferences panel in the preferences.

There is no other way to do this on-the-fly at this moment though,
but it will be supported with transforms in the next 2.6 release.

Thanks again for the response Radiance! I haven't messed with these features yet, ill give it a go. Usually im using the exporter in maya. Maybe access to this option in the exporter? would be good for animators.
