it would be handy to locate what part you are editing via right click and highlight / zoom to part in view port. also the ability to hide parts to access parts behind another. example is if you have a meter covered in glass... you need to access the gauge to add the texture, you have to spend some time locating the parts. also in the graph editor if we could click the connection dots on the object to switch to the materials would be nice also.

Hi,

Octane currently (2.5x and before) sees your scene as one big collection of triangles,
so it does not know about individual objects.
The next version (2.6 branch) will.

NICE! cant wait. Keep up in these directions, there will be no need for any other rendering applications. when do you guys put in the drink dispenser plugin?
