I would set up a pc instead of a mac to be more flexible.
I recommend a mobo with multiple pcie slots so you can upgrade later or buy multiple cheaper gtx cards.
A GTX 460 is cheap and you will get good power per buck (even 2 Gig version available).

About the exported camera view, when I click on the "reset camera view to default" in Octane after exporting from rhino with the script, it does not return the camera to the starting default, the view I exported from rhino. Is there a way to set that so the original camera view is remembered? Thanks.
