Hi there
my name is Rico , i am completely new to this forum and a absolute newby to GPU rendering
i have downloaded the demo version of octane to my windows vista 32b machine Intel (R) Core (TM)2 Extreme CPU X9770 -3.20 GHz with a G-Force 8800GTX
card. and i cant start the program.
i can load a obj file into the Graph Editor ,but everytime i click on the mesh icon the program crashes ,
i tryed the demo scenes and it is the same.
can anyone help me ,and is there a documentation how to use the software,could not find anything on the web.

Yes, the documentation for Octane is shipped in the Octane archive that you download. There is also a "Octane Render Alpha Video" here:

For your crash problem:
I had exactly the same crash issue as you. The problem was the driver version.
The solution for you is the following, as Radiance wrote:
Get the "official" CUDA driver for your card - 190.38 from http://developer.nvidia.com/object/cuda ... loads.html.
Uninstall your initial driver and then install the 190.38 version.
If you look around in the forum, you will find the same problem and its solutions all over the place.
