Here is a scene that im making at the moment.
Just something that im doing in my free time.

Im going to be expanding in the number of pools and i might make a interior instead of a HDRi

About the scene;
  • Might be a over-used concept, but it looks cool anyway
  • Too little roughness on the balls (look at reference below)
  • The wood looks oversaturated (most of the scene does, actually)
  • Somewhat noisy (Probably because this is in the WIP section)
  • Good timelapse :D
  • The cue looks too short
  • Balls are also too specular

It looks soooo 3Dish
The stick is too short and the triangle has too sharp edges. It looks like it is rendered with a skanline engine.
Plus all Sportler said!

I suggest using a glossy material with a specular value of 0.015 and a roughness of 0.007
At least that's what I used for my billiard scene some time ago ;)
