I am not a programmer so I am just guessing but could it be that the embedding of dispersion and absorbtion lay the foundation for Sub Surface Scattering ?
Of course SSS it is not an easy matter and sometimes 1 + 1 is not 2 but SSS seems to be a result of light spreading and absorbing in a medium.
I just hope that means that SSS is comming soon because it is one of the features I am missing mostly.
What do you think?
