My first time run with the OctaneRender (1.024 beta2.46b Win32 CUDA 3.2) and while the load up screen appears it says 'Unable to determine a network connection type'.
I use an adapter to connect to my wireless router. My internet works fine with all other applicaitons.
Help would be much appreciated.

Sorry guys it turned out that I did not have my ethernet controller driver installed.
WIN XP, 3.40 GHz, 2GB & GTX 460 2GB

Why (or how) did the ethernet (LAN) chip driver install fix your problem?
I have the same issue: I have wireless internet but I have disabled the ethernet chips on my motherboard.
