anyway, this uses physX, whatever happened to AGEIA - they made physX cards before - I got one inside the dell xps laptop - never ever used it for anything

this is not useful for 3d rendering, is there a knowledge of a software that can simulate fluid via GPU so we can use it in 3dmax c4d etc, and is readily available to the general pubilc.. googled it and didn't find anything ready useful..
I read about someone doing a script for glu3d or something that does the programming on the gpu, but it was an old post.. I refuse to do water sim on the CPU so I will either wait for the gpu option or will not do it at all..
time for another realflow equivalent..
Like maxwell set the benchmark for unbiased cpu rendering, octane render is setting it for gpu.. now they also make fluid sim, and someone should make them a competing software in that field also..
Interesting how the maxwell company nextlimit only makes software that runs extra slow
