Octane is impressive as far as I could test it (like most of us really). The demo works fine on my Nvidia Geforce 8800GT so good in fact that
I'm rushing out to buy a GT250/260 to improve render time that judging from the test demo is already 'a w e s o m e'.
But I understand that at the moment the camera export from 3dsmax is no supported? I'm sorry this question has been probably submitted already, I did my best
to search through the forum.
My question is: I would love to test a couple of scenes out of my library already done using Vray, I already tried to export using the settings found here, but on import of the obj file the camera is pratically and totally out of range and materials are almost not there at all, what about material exporting in general? I understand this is still a beta demo but I saw in the gallery some impressive pictures with excellent use of the textures applied.
Most of my work is based on chrome and porcelain mat, what tip could you give to me in order to export it properly? should I leave behind Vray materials? Sorry is a noob question

thanks
