It looks like an implementation of SVO (Sparse Voxel Octrees), nothing new. I'll be interested when they show animation, rather than static instanced geometry.

Saw an interesting program on TV about Fractals in Nature.Just wondered if Fractal maths could be used to create natural scenes on the fly using maths to describe the scene rather than store loads of polygons.
