Which set up works better GTX 570 2560MB in SLI VS GTX590?

EVGA NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 570 2560MB 320BIT GDDR5 PCI-E 2.0

$975 (cost for both)

1 X VC-EV-GTX590EVGA E-GEFORCE NVIDIA GTX590 3072MB,768 BIT GDDR5,PCI-E 2.0

I have to make this decision by tomorrow please help me choose!! thank you!

I tink SLI does not work with Octane

Would it be better off to just go with a Single 580 w/ 3G of Ram then?

SLI doesn't work in octane, but 2 GPUs give you 2x render times, since Octane is almost linear now (you just don't set them as SLI) the 590 shares the 3Gb between both processors hence having 1,5 each (you can only use the minimun vram common to both cards) so for almost the same price the 570s have almost the same cores and more vram, so I would go for those, if your budget allows it, but that's just my opinion
