Hello!
I've just registered into the forum but I've been following (and testing!) this wonderful renderer since day 1.
I have a quick question that maybe has been answered before, but I couldn't find it: is there a way to specify tiling in a texture node?
Thanks, and keep the hard work guys, OR is already amazing at its current state, can't imagine what lies ahead!
Texture tiling?

I think that you must do tiling in your 3dapp when creating uv maps.

Much better to add tiling in Octane if at all possible - not every map you might use on a model would tile exactly the same way and it forces you to custom paint each one.

It would be realy handy if one could rotate, tile, offset, mirror textures inside octane. For now, when dealing with tileable textures, I play with standard material inside 3dsmax( tile, offset, rotate texture) and when I'm happy with results I put on UVW Xform modifier and copy settings for tiling,offset... from standard material, then collapse stack.
Hope I didn't sound too confusing because of my english:)

Actually I did try to understand if tiling is properly exported from Rhino as I loose it completely once in Octane. and same goes for the same obj from Rhino to 3Dmax.
as a registered Rhino user and ART I should ask the support for a better handling of it.
Better story is from 3DMax to Octane though but still work to do, waiting for beta 2 and bump maps.

will beta 2 feature Bump mapping too?
Glad to have bought this license really worth the price so far even if I could not enjoy it as much as those with an higher card than mine...
