When i change from one to another i realy can't see any diference in the render. Is something I am doing wrong?
(i just delete the direclight node and plug the pathtrace in it's place)

With direct lighting you don't have indirect illumination but you can have ambient occlusion and manage the distance of that fx, so very cool to have a quick result but not as realistic as with pathtracing.
