Another yet simple suggestion...

When adding nodes I find it sometimes tedious to right click, add, menu, submenu, node.

I thought it would speed up workflow to have an 'add' menu bar that is customizable and a node bar that is customizable.

The 'fav' bar is obvously shelf for your most used nodes.

Here is a little pic of what I mean (above graph editor tab).

I know the developers are very busy with v1 features but I thought I might through this out there anyway.

Don't you think this will reduce the vertical size of the node graph and render viewport above and under it too much?
