(sorry for the "lazy" title, but I couldn't find anything else  )

Hi all !

I hadn't posted anything in a while, so here is my latest work.
I really had trouble with getting rid of the speckles because of the lights.
On top of that, Photoshop "glow" effect added graininess to the picture.

Not one of my favourite pics, but still, I thought I'd post it anyway...

Cheers everyone !
:D

I can't remember the exact number f samples, but I think it was around 6,000.

I think that stairs are letting down what is otherwise a very nice render. I'm not that heavy (ahem) but I'd be a bit scared to walk up those stairs. They look very delicate.

Thanks!

Yep, I totally agree with you - the stairs are sooo thin - but it was a quick job, unfortunately I couldn't spend much more time on them...

Nice scene! You really should let this cook a little longer in the latest beta using the new render kernel. Should do magic to the noise problem.

I hadn't noticed there was another Octane version, I'll have to check this out.
Is it stable enough?

Many thanks again !
;)

EDIT : Oh I know now. Indeed I had noticed there was a 2.46b version, but the thing is : it doesn't support multi-GPU, so I'll have to wait a bit...

The new 2.47 PMC test release should work wonders for this scene with the new pmc kernel,
I would definately try it even with one GPU. (I would be interested to see the difference too)
