Will this new render kernel solve the smoothing issues with models that create the black borders.

I haven't checked in with Octane for a couple of weeks, and this post is great news. Fireflies would be the main reason I just can't use Octane in any kind of production. No matter what I try, there seems to be no way to avoid fireflies. The best solution to my problem would be to have the renderer not produce them at all. This is great news.

No. (SSS is scheduled for v2.0)

Next question 8-) ; will it support dispersion and will there be new node features already in the first 2.5 release?
