new amd machine-octane demo not run!!

You should start it from command line in order to get more info about what's wrong.
Desktop: Ubuntu 13.04 x64 - i7-3770K @ 3.5GHz - 32GB DDR3 - GTX670 2048MB
Laptop: Linux Mint 11 x64 - i7-2860QM @ 2.5GHz - 16GB DDR3 - Quadro 3000M 2GB

Look at our Xorg config file: /etc/X11/xorg.conf , you should see if it's enabled or not.
Desktop: Ubuntu 13.04 x64 - i7-3770K @ 3.5GHz - 32GB DDR3 - GTX670 2048MB

I think you can safely assume you don't have SLI (this anyway requires 2 video cards and this is somethig you would definitly know before purchasing them :-) )

Um did I understand this right...there is a demo for octane that works for AMD GPUs?????

And in that case...WHERE IS THE VIDEO! :shock: :o

No, Octane only works on NVIDIA GPUs w/ CUDA technology.
