It sounds ok and Octane should run fine (although not fast), but I don't have any personal experience with it, so take this statement with a grain of salt.kiku70 wrote:Hi, I would like to know if there is any issues to use the new nvidia driver, CG gtx 460m with octane 2.46 ?

I got 270.61 when emm another render engine said it needed it for it's GPU rendering - however I think it is a very unstable driver, kinda shocking for a supposed 'WHQL' - it seems most if the oroblems are to do with Flash acceleration, and I was getting stuff like if I maximized a youtube or vimeo video the monitor would just go one solid colour (which seemed to be an average of the movie's colour) - it seems quit a few people are getting this problem - I dunno maybe MS asked them to rush the driver out for something with IE9's GPU usage.
Ok in short for the moment I've gone back to the 266.51, apparently nVidia know of the bug and are working to fix it.
