Hi,
I have a question regarding IES lights. Unfortunately I am not im office so I can't test it.

Is the IES textured mesh an invisible light source? So you need the emitting source as well as the IES textured light plane?

Thank you for your help.
Cheers

Hi,

You will see the actual emitting geometry emitting like a normal area light, but if the IES distribution does not emit light into the direction of the camera,
it will not be visible.
