I currently have a Quadro FX1800 installed as the sole card in my Win7 64bit workstation and was hoping to install a GTX580 for rendering with Octane.
I noticed that they have completely different driver sets and was wondering if this would cause issues.
Does anyone have any experience with running cards with 2 different driver sets?

Quadro is a scam. Maybe not a few years ago, when gaming cards weren't that powerful -- but I wouldn't pay the extra bucks for that thing. Don't get suckered into the Quadro marketing hype.

Just use a 580.

You can use a modified quadro driver to run both cards
