Kubo's scene feels more representative of Octane.
If you really want it I'll zip it up of course, but I'm surprised and flattered.

Hey,

What's good about your scene is that it's simple, light-weight and stylish.
Kubo's interior is nice too, but it's quite complex, maybe too complex for what we need.

If you can get it to me, i will give both a try and see what works best size and speed wise.

I agree with Radiance about your scene tehfailsafe, it might be simple but it looks good and profesional. Most of the best archviz shots (or at least the ones I like most) are clean and simple. There was one on the gallery or the wip some time ago from a Tadao Ando's project with light coming thru an opening in a wall and a chair that I liked a lot too, don't have much time to dig now but I thik that would be a neat addition too. (I love Ando's work, so any render of his work is always a masterpiece in my eyes)
Just the same, you got a pm, Radiance, if you can use it, it'll be great, if not, I won't mind of course.

Tried to clean up some stuff and hit a few "bumps".

How about this kitchen scene from the famous cgtalk best renderer thread? Would be nice to see how octane compares to those old renderers.
