hi!

just a question about the memory in octane.
i'm working with two cards . i see the 2 cards running because "mutli gpu device" appears. but i'm surprise to see only the half of the memory is used. each card has 1,3 Go memry, so i should have 2,6 Go memory tu used!!??

is it normal because octane can't for the moment use all memory of multi cards of have i ake something wrong???

the problem is textures take a lot of memory and i'l be quickly full...^^

thanks

Sorry but
This is normal. Octane and possibly other GPU render engines use the maximum memory of the cards in a paralell manner.

Lets say, if you did have one 1GB card and another card with 2GB memory.
Octane would show you 1GB memory.
It would be impossible to render and exceed for the card that has lower memory, if your scene demanded >1.0 GB gpuRam

Hope it helps..
