sunlight doesn't cast alpha shadows yet. Try it with an HDRI or something and it will.

If you want to save your renders with alpha channel, then you must enable it in the preview kernel.

you might want to look into something like youveelizer for AE and then export a normal map for it from your modeling tool ( assuming you're using the export from your modeling tool to get your camera position )
