I am trying to get the demo running on an Amazon HVM based Cluster GPU EC2 instances.
http://aws.amazon.com/ec2/hpc-applications/
The standard image is CentOS 5.5. I get it up and running, install glew, and then get smacked with:
./octanedemo: /usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.9' not found (required by ./octanedemo)
I've searched for updates for GLIBC for CentOS, and found nothing.
Any ideas on this?

Hi,
Our newer licensed versions are linked correctly for deployment on CentOS 5.x
We will be updating the demo in 1-2 weeks to the current version 2.44, it will then run on CentOS.
Maybe check back then...

Awesome. Thanks for the reply. I think I'll be purchasing the licensed version this week anyway, so problem solved.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
