I press the pause button but it is processing something (50% CPU and 50% GPU)
GPU GTX 480 / GT 430 for UI
CPU Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 (2.5 Ghz) / RAM 8 GB DDR2
SOFT Windows 7 64bit4

It's the tonemapping which is still running, even if the actual rendering is stopped. And yes, it can be improved and it's on the to-do list.
