Hello guys,

Im pretty sure this has been mention a biilion times but would it be possible if some could make a section on the website that gives us a daily update on whats happening on the development of octane. Post something every sunday or sat or fri on octane development/website development/documentation [wiki, tutorials/ fan made tutorails/ plug in updates < I know there is a section already but having a right in front of your face announcement and a relink would be awesome .
Just like blenders "Developers meeting minutes".
It can be as trivial as:

"Coding this"
"Cleaning that"
"Linked this to that"
"Made a new GUI element"
"writing a octane wiki"
"writing a new idea"

It would make the website more active and will have more visitors. I dont know if it is me but there is quite a few more posts around then before ;)

Just a simple suggestion,

Thanks,

Radiant

I think this will slowdown the progress because they must cleanup the current work.
I know it from me, I work on some things and let me show some variables or dissable some parts of the programm.

Maybe I´m wrong...

What radiant meant is information update on development, not updates of Octane build.

I agree that it would be nice to have some periodic insight on the current progress.

Nice try Radiant, but I don't think it's going to happen.

First off, given how lightly manned they are at this current time, I'm sure they don't want to make weekly advertisements out of the fact that development is proceeding at a glacial pace.

Secondly, this weekly update would open a whole new round of complaining. I can hear it now: "How come you guys didn't get much done this week?", "How come you guys are working on this?", "How come you guys AREN'T working on that?", "You guys said you were going to have this done a long time ago!", "I submitted a bug on this X months ago -- why is there no movement on it?"
