Thats only a rendermap which will automatic generate per frame inside Softimage.
The first ICE-Tree generate a white vertex color map till the first particle is emitted.
tree1.gif
In the second tree, the particles generates the vertex color map per distance to each point from the cube.

The cube self have 2 uv-maps, one cubic and one explicit.

He have also a RenderMap, renamed to OctaneMap, so that the exporter can find it.
The Imagename/path will generated automaticly and lie in the project folder. The only thing you must do is to check what you will bake and to choose the image size/format.
rendermap.gif
The cubic uv-map is used to mix the Octane logo and the checkboard together.
The other one is used to store the rendermap.

You see, it´s also realy simple ;)
The only think which is a little bit tricky, is to know, that only the first uv-map is exported.
So you must see, that the exported one is on the first place in the explorer.
And there is nothing, what the current plugin can´t do, but i think the most known it ;)
