2 renders which I then combined and edited a fair bit afterwards - obviously I was trying to be stylized so these aint exactly realistic looking :p -

final image - added some gaussian blur at two different settings and made the emit heart slightly pink by reducing B and G levels

this one was too dark but had the hearts in front of the emitting heart so I used that part in the final blended image
