1. wiring:
when adding a node while another one is selected/highligted, the selected one should automatically become parent to the new one.
2. overview:
when many nodes are placed outside the frame, things can get kind of confusing. a mini-map or mousewheel-zoom would help navigating through the node graph. Holding spacebar to push the view around would also be highly appreciated.
3. nodes:
additional procedurals like circles/dots, lines, squares would help alot. And what about a "AO overwrite" bool for materials? ...that could be greyed out when pathtracing is enabled.
Just some thoughts that appeared during work on that material competition...
