I would like to see the channel fill even if your not involved heavy there. Also it will help support the real super noobs ("like my self") from flooding the forums with simple repeat questions as will help with turnaround time for questions.

I think it would good to have a stickied thread with whatever eventually is decided is the semi 'official' IRC channel
