strange, 2.42 works (there is still "not connected error splash" but works), 2.43 does not work. I don´t understand it. Everything is allowed, I´m on airlive router and UBNT 5Hz station, Win 64XP
Guys, is not a time for some "bad connection support report system"? It´s a black box for me. Something what will be able to collect all datas and helps with solving.

I have contacted my friend who works in Alwil (Avast maker) company and he does not see a solution (he checked my situation with a developer guy). He said it looks as a bug on your side becouse I don´t have restrictions.
Is this possible?

Hmm, I don't understand it, too. What exactly happens when you launch Octane pre-beta 2.42? Does it just work or do you get any error messages?
And what happens when you launch pre-beta 2.43?

there is a "classical" error "unable to determine network connectcion type - Please contact Refractive software support", but 2.42 started (in case I press "OK") button. App itself is connected and works...
Same situation for 2.43, but does not start.

What´s frustrating for me. I have a deadline 7.2. fr a new article (about octane) for Pixel mag (Radiance has a pdf copy of first part) and newest version does not work.
