Hi there!
I'm very seriously considering buying your software, but I see there happen to be some stability problems on some machines.
Therefore I'm considering buying a new one.
GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R
i7-950 Quadcore 3.06Ghz
Kingston Hyper-X KHX1600C9AD3B1K2 - 8GB or 12?
PALIT GF GTX970 1280MB

Do you think it's a good choice? Would Octane run fine on it?

Currently I'm working on E8600 and GF 9600GT with 4GB Ram and i have problems with importing obj files ->software crash
Your demo suites work fine besides one of the chessboard files.

Thanks in advance!

I'm no expert on hardware, but that rig will run Octane just fine. Just don't throw your 9600GT away - you'll need it to run the display, while the 470 renders.

I wish I was able to use 2 gfx cards but I cant as my soundcard is PCI-E also and as my GTX260 takes up the room of 2 cards anwyay - I've no room for anything else :(
