Hi,
I'm very excited to try the v 0.90 exporter with blender 2.56 on OS X. I've downloaded everything but one thing is very unclear to me:
How do I install the exporter in OS X?
I tried to put all the .py files in a /2.56/scripts/addons/octane folder. Under user preferences it shows up but it's not possible to check it using the check box.
I Can't find any installation description.
Could someone please help?
/Bjorn

Hi Bjorn,
you install the plugin directly from the user preferences panel with the 'add' button in the plugin tab and then selecting directly the zip file (please remove all files you've manually installed before). If this doesn't work, you're probably trying the wrong script as it comes in two flavors: one for 2.56a from Blender site, the other one for recent builds. (The headers have changed).
Cheers,
Yoyoz

Hi Yoyoz,
Now I got it working, this is so cool!
I use C4d and blender and it looks like the blender exporter is the most advanced for the moment.
Keep up the good work.
Thanks a lot mate.
