I'm working on dodge viper rendering. Model is dodge cad data downloaded from CGI Zone. There are some more things to be done before I call it final. C'n'C are welcome.

Cheers,

nice, change the ior in the glass to 1.01 or something like that, so the glass will not refract
and turn on the smooth on the windscreen.

I would reduce the chromatic aberration.
A professional studio environment and the result looks as if the camera has an piece of broken glas as lense. ;)
If you shoot with a extreme zoom or wide angle lense, then you can have an aberration on the edges...

btw, the rest looking good...

Looking good!

Maybe put a very subtle bump texture on the tires.

Keep it up!

U R right face. I almost never use CA because it can be easily overdone, like in this case:), and than it looks weird. So here's one render without CA:)

@Sixthlaw

I also thought about same thing:) In next few days I'm gonna model brembo brakes, try different tires and maybe put this viper in it's natural habitat:)

Tnx for comments!

Nice render! Whe had the same model for a school project, but we rendered it in xsi :D

At the moment i'm trying to render an ferrari in octane, but i have problems with the glass material. I'm getting no reflections on the glas when i lower the ior to 1. How did you manage that problem? I tried a mix between specular and glossy material, with no big success. Could you please give me a hint?

Why would you lower ior to 1? You don't need to do that. Just add right amount of thickness to your windshield/windows/... and set right ior value. That should work:)
