maybe I'm wrong....
considered the fact that I cannot save and recall multiple views for a single camera, I use to create multiple camera nodes in the preview configuration of the graph editor and connect the one I need to mesh preview render target.
Doing this I notice that simply detach a camera and attach another does not update the render viewport which remains referenced to the already detached camera, which seems to remain active. To obtain the activation of the the right camera, the one currently connected, I need to tweak the parameters of the old and detached one in the node inspector panel, this seems to wake up the new camera. This is annoying.
Is something missing, there is some activation command I ignore?

thanks!!!

Maybe this helps...

the camera node can be saved as .ocs file, and then imported back to preview configuration and re-attached. multiple camera angles can be saved and re-connected this way to shifte between camera angles..
the only problem is- after connecting the desired camera node- in the previous disconnected camera node- some settings have to be modified (like slightly modifying FOV, or anything else). the new camera then instantly jumps to the correct view....(i hope i was able to make it clear).
it works for me. this is a small workaround. no need to write down the parameters.
