Hello,

I was wondering if there is a trick to see the textures in the houdini's scene view ?

I'm aware of the way to see it in the IPR but I would like to avoid to launch a render every time I want to check a texture.

Thank you in advance

Select your octane material node.
Edit parameter interface.
From "render properties tab/material options/OpenGL/diffuse texture layer", add "texture # (ogl_tex#)" to existing parameters. Rename it ogl_tex1.
Dive in and copy color file name parameter from texture image node.
Goback and select again your octane material node. Paste relative reference into the field you've just added.
That's it.

Maybe create hda so you don't have to do it again, or find an other way to automate this.

Be aware that opengl/vulkan textures take up space on graphic card and can compete with IPR (depending on your hardware setup).
