I do not think this is possible.. but just in case...
If you animate in a third party app (blender, maya, 3dsmax etc) an invisible node, or polygon with zero scale etc. Simply moving from left to right as an example. and export an ABC of it over a period of frames.
Can you use any kind of "parenting" using groups and placement nodes (within the standalone) to move another separate mesh/group node or camera by the original abc's movement?

Hi Peter,
As far as I know, you should be able to add geometry via Scatter node, but not a Camera.
You need to animate the Camera in third party app and export it in ABC as well.
