Hi there,

Im switching from C4D to Blender now and of course would like to transfer my assets
from my c4d asset browser (with octane materials) to blender octane.
So from C4D 2026 I export a ORBX file.

But Im missing or cannot find the ORBX Loader (using Blender Addon Octane 2026.2 - 31.4)

any help with this please?

thanks

You can import an ORBX file using the Orbx Properties:

Hi Lino,

First of all, thank you very much for the feedback!

Unfortunately I still don't understand how this works!
I've only recently been trying to switch to Blender and I'm a total beginner at this stuff...

What exactly do I have to do?

best regards

Have a default cube on your scene, if you start with the new octane render startup you have it.
then go to object properties and select your orbx scene, start the render.
dunno about anything else as i haven't use it so much.

btw I am getting some errors
Python: Traceback (most recent call last):

Hi Konstantinos,

thanks much!
Dont know what I did wrong before, but now it works!

Except the "Generate Orbx Preview" like you said.
Get that same error.

Yes, the generate ORBX preview option is not supported yet in this version.
